    I get a blank screen with lights when I plug in my OBDMII Tool. I have tried it on two vehicles.

    Strange Me Too. I have an MS509 which I have had for about 3 years. Last time I used it it was fine but that was about a year ago. Now the screen is blank and the beep sounds all the time. I was looking for the update file to see if I could update the firmware, but it seems to have been removed. Got to think if they are not supporting older models what value is the gaurentee on new models.

    I have the MS300 OBD II reader and get no light when plugged into my 2000 Silverado. Could it be a blown fuse.

    had the same problem with maxidiag 801 took rear cover off to discover that the circuit board to the screen wasnt locked in place. placed it back and scanner works fine

    Reply to 5 floor: I've got a similar issue. Lit up blank screen when plugged into several vehicles. As another member posted, I can't even do a firmware upgrade due to it not existing on the site. Other problems encountered were not being able to fine the '.bin' when attached to my computer via supplied usb cable. I'm using XP 32 bit. Support - Could you instruct me on how I could my MS509 up and running ? I just purchased this brand new in the box unit 1 week ago. Could I get these 'updated programs' and instructions on how to install them ?

    I have a machine MaxiScan MS 509 to about two years, when I connect the drive I get white screen and can not make the diagnosis can not find solution and also can not do update the machine how can I solve this problem?

    For Yuri: you had the tool for two years. This is the first time you encounter this problem. So maybe it is due to the storage uncarefulness.
